KidAdmit is quickly advancing preschools by connecting them to today’s tech savvy parents and vice versa. We are creating a better experience for parents and preschools so both can effectively communicate throughout the entire admissions process.

KidAdmit receives the names of preschools and daycares from the California State Child Licensing Department. Preschools and daycares listed within KidAdmit are licensed through the State of California. Information listed on the preschool and daycare’s profile pages is gathered directly from the preschool or daycare through their admissions office and/or website.

Who We Are

Tejal Shah // Founder & CEO

Tejal Shah Tejal has an engineering degree from University of Rochester, and she also co-founded Peninsula Wealth, an independent wealth management firm. Before co-founding KidAdmit, Tejal focused on implementing special programs in elementary schools. She has used her 10+ years of professional experience to build successful businesses and her passion lies in early childhood education. Tejal is a 2nd degree black belt in Karate, lives in San Francisco with her husband, and enjoys being called “momma” by her 2 boys, Nishane and Logas.

Parth Shah // Co-Founder & CTO

Parth Shah Parth was born & brought up in Ahmedabad, India. He came to the US & got an engineering degree from Purdue University. Parth slowly made his way west to the Bay Area with stops in Detroit, Michigan & Phoenix, Arizona working for Fortune 500 Internet companies along he way, most recently at Paypal. Parth is a strong believer in making technology work for us, so that we have more time for things that matter, like family & friends. When he’s not churning out amazing code, he’s a husband, a beer lover, a tech nerd, a golfer/basketball player/cricketer (depending on the season), food truck addict, and oh! Five Guys over In-N-Out any day!!

Spencer Spezzano // Full-Stack Web Developer

Spencer Spezzano Spencer graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a degree in history. After some time in a business development role at a startup, he completed a web development intensive bootcamp. Spencer joined us to combine his new found love of programming with his experience working with kids at the Bay Area Discovery Museum. When he’s not coding away he spends his time rooting for Bay Area sports teams and eating his way through San Francisco.

Susan Mees // Head of Market Growth

Susan Mees Susan has a degree in English and Political Science from Boston University and a passion for early-stage, growth-focused startups. With a background in healthcare, consumer products, and community management, Susan is excited about any challenge that involves building a passionate community of users who is motivated to change the world. In her free time, Susan loves to cook, travel, and spend time outside with her husband and dog.
